Jesse Applegate : Oregon's prince of pioneers, 1930-1970.

Typed manuscript biography and apologia by Applegate "clearing the record" on Jesse Applegate, Oregon figure. It was never published and she would never allow anyone to review or critique it during her life time. Ms. Applegate had access to many family sources of information which she incorporated into her history. She revised the work many times and appended copious notes. She sometimes omits important sources which would reflect unflatteringly on her subject.
